*****SAT SCHOOL DAY*****

For the 11th Grade Class: The SAT exam will be held on Tuesday, April 13th at Shady Spring High School. The SAT is West Virginia’s general summative assessment for high school. Every 11th grade student MUST take the exam at school on Tuesday, April 13th. This includes all juniors who are on virtual school. Please check the Class of 2022 Schoology group to keep up to date with information about SAT School Day on April 13th, 2021.

Seniors: If you have NOT yet taken the SAT college entrance exam and would like to take it at school, you may participate in SAT School Day on April 13th. You need to either sign up in the guidance office or email Ms. Holliday at jholliday@k12.wv.us to sign up to take the SAT on April 13th. The DEADLINE for Seniors to sign up to participate in SAT School Day is March 19th.

The Raleigh County Public Library partners with Tutor.com

Tutor.com provides online, on-demand academic tutoring, homework help, and test preparation to kindergarten through 12th grade students.  Any student with a valid Raleigh County Public Library card can access Tutor.com and connect with tutors in a safe and secure online classroom. Tutors are available from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. every day of the week, resources are available 24/7. Follow the link below to check it out.

Student Quarantine Information

If a student has been exposed to COVID-19 inside or outside of school, Raleigh County Schools follows a 14-day quarantine protocol. The student must quarantine for 14 days from the date of exposure. For quarantine related outside side of school, a doctor's/health department note is required to return to school.
