SSHS Administration would like to let you know, that today, we will be having an ALICE Drill.        ALICE is the program adopted by Raleigh County Schools that is used to train our teachers and in turn, our students on how to respond in in case of an active shooter situation. These drills are required throughout the year to help staff and students be better prepared if a situation like this were ever to occur.       Again, this is only a drill and there is no reason to be alarmed.  If you have any questions, you can call the school. Governor’s Schools of West Virginia will offer free summer programs for grades 7 to 11. This program covers many areas, including arts, humanities, mathematics, science, and technology. Please keep an eye out for upcoming applications.
