Mrs. Bass has been a school nurse for Raleigh County Schools since 2006 and had worked as a contract nurse prior to that.

Before starting her school nursing career, she worked as a staff nurse in hospital settings and worked in home health care.

She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from West Virginia University.
