• Academic Common Market
  To qualify for the Academic Common Market, a student must be a resident of West Virginia and must be admitted unconditionally into a participating out-of-state degree program that is not available in West Virginia. Please note the PROMISE Scholarship cannot be used at any out-of state institutions including those participating in the Academic Common Market. However, the PROMISE Scholarship can be deferred for one academic school year. A complete list of programs can be viewhere.

• PROMISE Scholarship
  The PROMISE Scholarship is a merit-based financial aid program for West Virginia residents. Students who achieve certain academic requirements are eligible to receive funds to help pay for college. Eligible high school graduates will receive annual awards up to $4,750 to cover the cost of tuition and mandatory fees at public or independent institutions in West Virginia. • WV Invests Grant Program
  WV Invests Grant Program is a financial aid program designed to cover the cost of tuition and fees for certificate or associate degree programs in specific high-demand fields, as determined by the West Virginia Department of Commerce, at a participating West Virginia public two- or four-year institution.   For more information click here.

• Academy of Careers & Technology (ACT)
  Students interested in attending Academy of Careers & Technology (ACT) must apply during the spring term of their sophomore year. Students will attend ACT for half of the school day during their Junior and Senior depending on the program. One full credit will be earned per course for elective credit which will provide students the opportunity to become program completers. Programs available to high school students can be viewed here.
  Students interested in pursuing post-secondary enrollment as an Adult Learner are encouraged to visit the Academy of Careers & Technology (ACT) website for registration fees and deadlines. A detailed course description of all programs can be viewed here.

• Job Corps
  Student interested in attending Job Corps are encouraged to complete an online application found here. Job Corps is a great way to earn a one-year certificate or two-year Associate's Degree at no cost to you. For more information regarding Job Corp click here.

• National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)
  High school seniors who are interested in playing a sport in college are encouraged to create an account with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). • National Association of Intercollegiate Athletic (NAIA)
  High school seniors who are interested in playing a sport in college are encouraged to register here to determine eligibility with the NAIA. Parents and students are able to research NAIA schools here; further questions can be answered here.
